Challenging the Orthodoxy: Solutions to Break the Cycle of Homelessness

I welcomed the opportunity to discuss innovative ways to break the cycle of homelessness in Los Angeles with Tom Dioro, host of The Modern Built Environment Podcast for Swinerton.

The Weingart Center is at the forefront of solving the homeless crisis in Los Angeles by providing the necessary tools, training, and support to help unsheltered individuals move from the streets or shelters into self-sufficient, permanent housing. By teaming up with Swinerton, the Weingart Center is able to develop innovative construction methods that provide housing solutions quickly and efficiently. One innovative solution to improve the speed of construction is to build structures with prefabricated materials and modular components.
